| Andreas Realert came very close to winning his 1st IM World Championship, but only to finish second behind two-time Kona victor Chris McCormack. Andreas put in a sterling performance and was joint 1st with only a few miles to go, before “Macca” pushed on to secure victory in what will go down as one of the great IM duels in recent times. During the race Andreas ‘débuted’ the new Triad SL in competition for the first time. The bike with its new integrated front end caught a lot of attention in the days leading up to Kona and is sure to be a success in the Blue range for 2011. Back to News |
